TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

In the event a TORAKI product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our agents, TORAKI shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price (including shipping charges). TORAKI shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. Protection of your personal information

The personal information that you provide in connection with registering yourself as a TORAKI user is classified. Registration information is protected in several ways. Access by you to your Registration information is available ONLY through your email address and customer selected password submitted by you. This password is encrypted. We recommend you do not divulge your password.

In addition, your registration information resides on a secure server that only selected TORAKI personnel have access to via another password-protected mechanism. TORAKI encrypts your personal information and thereby prevents unauthorized parties from viewing such information when it is transmitted to TORAKI.

Question: Do I share responsibility for the security of my information?

Answer: Privacy and Security is critical to your use of www.toraki.com. Privacy and Security is a shared responsibility. The breakdown of these shared security responsibilities include; you, the consumer and TORAKI - You are responsible for the following:

Question: Does TORAKI share the information it receives?

Answer: Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information ONLY with the subsidiaries TORAKI operates with as described below:

Examples include, but are not limited to fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, and providing customer service. To use your credit card

On the order entry area, please enter your name exactly as it appears on your credit card. Then fill out your credit card billing address as it appears on your credit card statement. This is the address to which your statement is sent to each billing period.

We need this information to take your order and validate your credit card, but will charge your card only when the product is shipped, depending on your preferred shipping method.

To change or make corrections to this information, highlight the area you want to change and enter the new information. Please include your daytime phone number in case we need to speak with you about your order.

Currency of Payment (effective September 9, 2001)

All orders will be processed in US Dollars.

In anticipation of the changes to European community with regard to the introduction of the “Euro” (January 1, 2002), we have priced all of our product prices to the Euro (and displayed the equivalent “home” currency equivalent for several countries). For your convenience, we have converted the Euro price into other currencies.

All orders will be converted to an equivalent U.S. Dollar amount and it will be this amount that is charged on your credit card. Please note that we will use an exchange rate that is equal to or less than the current exchange rate for the transaction day. You will not be charged more than the order Total on our website in Euros. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.

Shipping Time: What Does It Mean?

Shipping time is dependent upon the shipping method you select. Here is the equation you should use to determine when you will receive your order:

Shipping Errors

If we made a mistake and sent you the wrong item/product, or if you received damaged or problem items, we will refund shipping charges through a credit to your credit card. Returns with no receipt must reference the original order number.

Note: TORAKI reserves the right to hold the processing of any order for security review. Affected customers will be notified via email.

BELEID VOOR RETOUREN / RRUILEN

Als een pak niet past, retourneer het dan binnen dertig (30) dagen en we zullen het voor u omruilen of u zondermeer een vergoeding geven (het artikel mag niet in contact gekomen zijn met een chloorhoudend bleekmiddel, mag niet aangepast of veranderd zijn of iets erop geborduurd hebben).

Zorgt u er a.u.b. voor dat het pak ten minste zes (6) keer is gekrompen (wassen en drogen) en dat u daarbij de wasvoorschriften in acht heeft genomen. Bedenk dat het pak daarna nog steeds iets zal krimpen.

Indien u een artikel dat u bij TORAKI heeft gekocht wilt retourneren, vragen we u zich aan de volgende procedure te houden:

1. NEEM A.U.B. EERST CONTACT OP MET TORAKI voordat u enig artikel/product aan ons magazijn retourneert. Onaangekondigde retouren zullen helaas door onze logistiek leverancier geweigerd worden.

2. Zorg er a.u.b. voor dat u uw naam, bestelnummer en de reden waarom u het artikel retourneert bij de hand heeft om desgevraagd aan de medewerker van de klantenservice te geven.

3. Wanneer de medewerker van TORAKI bevestigt dat u het artikel terug kunt sturen, verpak het artikel en stuur het op. De kosten voor het versturen van het pakket dienen door u betaalt te worden. Wij accepteren geen pakketten onder rembours. TORAKI IS NIET VERANTWOORDELIJK voor verkeerd verzonden, verloren of onderschepte pakketten. De verzender is verantwoordelijk om de juiste voorzorgsmaatregelen te treffen.

Alle terugbetalingen/vergoedingen zullen ALLEEN gecrediteerd worden op de creditcard die gebruikt is voor de aankoop.

We raden u aan het pakket verzekerd te verzenden via UPS of de verzekerde post van uw nationale postdienst.

We zullen u per e-mail op de hoogte brengen van de terugbetaling als we het geretourneerde artikel ontvangen en verwerkt hebben. U kunt binnen 7 tot 14 werkdagen na ontvangst van het geretourneerde artikel de terugbetaling verwachten in dezelfde betalingsvorm als die u gebruikt heeft voor de oorspronkelijke aankoop en. Houdt u er rekening mee dat we de verzendkosten alleen kunnen vergoeden als de retour het gevolg is van een fout die door ons is gemaakt.

Er zijn geen kosten verbonden aan het ruilen van een judogi voor een andere maat judogi van hetzelfde TORAKI-label.

Retouren in verband met Feestdagen

We begrijpen dat veel klanten hun Sinterklaas en Kerstcadeaus ruim van tevoren willen aanschaffen en dat hierdoor de omruiltermijn van dertig (30) dagen in het geding kan komen. Wij nemen daarom alle artikelen die tussen 15 november 2002 en 31 december 2002 aangeschaft zijn retour tot 31 januari 2013. Prettige Feestdagen!

VERGOEDINGSBELEID
(van toepassing vanaf 18 september 2001)

Indien u van plan bent een artikel dat u bij TORAKI heeft gekocht te retourneren, verzoeken wij u om EERST MET ONS CONTACT OP TE NEMEN. Wij kunnen dan de betreffende personen inlichten dat er een artikel retour komt. Dit zorgt ervoor dat we zo snel mogelijk de situatie weer helemaal in orde kunnen brengen.

Indien u geen contact met ons opneemt voordat u het artikel retourneert, behouden wij ons het recht voor om u € 30 aan administratiekosten in rekening te brengen voor het opnieuw in voorraad nemen en het opsporen van het pakket. Het berekenen van deze kosten zorgt er mede voor dat TORAKI zo alert mogelijk kan blijven reageren op de klant en de klant zo efficiënt en informatief mogelijk van dienst kan blijven zijn.

Terugbetalingen van Verzend- en Administratiekosten voor Premium label judogis

WE KUNNEN HELAAS DE VERZEND- EN ADMINISTRATIEKOSTEN NIET VERGOEDEN VOOR pakken die we u niet hebben aangeraden. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer u een pak zelf heeft aangeschaft, of heeft laten aanschaffen, zonder dat u onze “Bepaal mijn maat!”-software heeft gebruikt.

De maten van TORAKI verschillen erg van die van andere merken. Maat Nr. 4.0 Medium van een ander merk judogi correspondeert niet noodzakelijkerwijs met een TORAKI maat Nr.4.0 Medium. Vertrouwt u a.u.b. op onze adviezen met betrekking tot uw maat.

GAAT U A.U.B. NIET RADEN naar wat voor u de meest geschikte maat pak is. Een judogi is hiervoor een te belangrijk stuk ‘materieel’ (voor u en ook voor uw leerlingen).

Als uw leraar uw lichaamsmaten en uw voorkeurspasvorm aan ons heeft doorgegeven, dan zijn deze bij toraki bekend en kunnen ze makkelijk gekoppeld worden aan een bepaalde bestelling. Als dit zo is en de ruilperiode van dertig (30) dagen nadat de bestelling is geplaatst is nog niet verstreken, zullen wij zonder enig probleem het artikel omruilen of uw aankoop vergoeden.

Helaas gebeurt het regelmatig dat we bijvoorbeeld een jas moeten ruilen omdat een klant ons advies niet heeft opgevolgd en pas na aankoop merkt dat het pak dat hij/zij ontvangen heeft te groot is en/of te lange of korte mouwen heeft.

Onze “Bepaal mijn maat!” software er is specifiek op gericht dit probleem op te lossen. We hebben jaren lang de diverse processen van de “Bepaal mijn maat technologie” ontwikkeld en verfijnd zodat u nu verzekerd bent van de grootst mogelijke efficiëntie en effectiviteit.

SPONSOR - EN DONATIEBELEID

PROCEDURE(S)

Due to the volume of requests that are received, the following procedures are to be followed when requesting sponsorship and / or donations from TORAKI:

All proposals are to be faxed (or emailed preferred in PDF format) to the attention of the TORAKI sponsorship/donations department at 001 905 707 8483 or gis@toraki.com.

1. TORAKI must receive all requests at least twelve (12) weeks in advance of the event / program.

2. The proposal must have the following elements (at a MINIMUM) to be considered:

Proposals meeting the above requirements will receive a "yes" or "no" response approximately four to six weeks from receipt of the request with possibly further questions or requests for clarification.

Please keep in mind that, throughout the year, TORAKI receives hundreds of requests for support of meaningful athletes, events, associations and important causes.

Although we would love to support everyone, regrettably, we can only provide for those programs that directly reflect the causes, issues, and budget limitations that TORAKI has targeted for support.

Authentication

Authentication protects information by verifying the identity of the parties on both ends of the Internet connection, before confidential information is exchanged.

Your email address AND personally selected www.toraki.com password at the time of login to www.toraki.com is your method of retaining privacy and personal information. Throughout a session, extensive measures are undertaken to ensure security is maintained. In addition, server authentication ensures that you are communicating directly with TORAKI, and not an unauthorized party.

Certificate Authority

A certificate authority is a trusted third party that issues certificates that can be used by individuals or organizations to verify their identity or credentials. Certificates generally contain an entities name, their public key, an expiration date, a serial number and identifying information about the certificate authority including their digital signature.

Ciphertext

Ciphertext is text that is impossible to read without having a key to unscramble the information to its original readable form.

Cookies

There are two different types of Cookies: Those that are "STORED" on your computer and per-Session cookies that are "NOT STORED" on you computer.

We do NOT store Cookies on your hard drive. We find "STORED" cookies to be a little intrusive. We respect your privacy and have opted not to use them for our Web Site.

We use per-Session Cookies. Do to the inherent "Statelessness" of the Internet, per-Session Cookies are created when you enter a Web Site and are destroyed when you leave a Web Site. These Cookies help the Web Site to manage and persist information that you have already sent us so that you do not have to re-enter information such as your email address and password at every page you visit in our Web Site. These Cookies are "NOT STORED" on your computer.

Cryptography

Cryptography represents a set of mathematical techniques for encoding data such that it can be stored and transmitted securely. A system for encrypting and decrypting data is a cryptosystem. These usually involve an algorithm, or mathematical formula, for combining the original data ("plaintext") with one or more "keys" numbers or strings of characters known only to the sender and recipient. The resulting output is known as "ciphertext". More information on cryptography can be found on the RSA Data Security Inc. web site.

Digital Certificates

Also referred to as digital ID’s or public key certificates, digital certificates allow individuals or organizations to electronically verify their identity. Certificates are the digital equivalent to a passport or a driver’s license and are used in applications where higher levels of authentication are required and where passwords may be either insufficient or inconvenient. All certificates must be signed by a trusted third party called a Certificate Authority.

Digital Signature

Like a hand written signature in the paper world a digital signature has similar properties in the electronic world. A digital signature is an electronic identifier that can be amended to electronic documents or transactions. A digital signature serves three main purposes. Firstly, it provides authentication—proof that you are who you say you are. Secondly, it provides non-repudiation—proof that an exchange or transaction took place. Lastly, it provides integrity—any attempt to alter the information would be detected.

Encryption

Encryption is the process of scrambling information using a secret code so it cannot be understood by anyone other than those who have the key for decoding the information. For encryption to work, both the sender and receiver must be able to encode and decode the information. The site certificate provides the private key for encoding the information.

There are different levels of encryption commonly available within web browsers: 40 or 56-bit and 128-bit. The main difference between 40 or 56 bit encryption and 128-bit encryption is that 128-bit encryption provides a significantly greater amount of cryptographic protection than 40 or 56-bit encryption. The 128-bit encryption level is the strongest generally available encryption level today - TORAKI requires the use of 128-bit encryption.

Firewalls

A firewall acts as a barrier between internal and external computers in a network, controlling the flow of information between the two. When a computer outside the firewall wishes to communicate with a computer inside, it must communicate with the firewall, which then passes the data to the internal computer.

This two-step process protects TORAKI’s internal network from unauthorized access.

Key

A value which must be fed into the algorithm used to decode an encrypted message in order to reproduce the original plain text. There are two types of encryption: symmetric encryption and public key encryption. Symmetric encryption uses a symmetric key. Public key encryption uses a pair of keys, called public/private keys.

Public/Private Key Encryption

Public/Private key encryption uses two different but mathematically related keys for the encryption and decryption of data. The public key can be widely available and it is the key used to encrypt the data. The private key must remain private to the issuer of the public key, or a trusted third party, for it is the key used to decrypt the data.

Secure Socket Layer (SSL)

Information on the World Wide Web is transmitted using 'HTTP' (HyperText Transfer Protocol). Secure data on the Web is distributed by using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This is a layer of security over top of HTTP information. (The location addresses for secure sites use 'https:' at the beginning instead of the regular insecure 'http:'). Your browser would have been shipped to you with SSL enabled. Please see your browser's 'Help' files for more information about SSL.

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol was developed by Netscape Communications Corporation to provide a high level of security for Internet communications. SSL provides an encrypted communications session between your web browser and a Web server. When sensitive information is being sent over the Internet between your browser and a web server SSL verifies that the information has not been altered in any way en-route. All major browsers released in recent years support SSL. More information on SSL can be found on Netscape's site.

Segmented data packets

Before your financial data leaves your computer, it is broken down into small, separate packages of information called packets. These encrypted packets are dispersed into the Internet individually, like pieces of a puzzle, each individually addressed. Once they have all reached the safety of the secure TORAKI web server, they are reassembled and decrypted.

Symmetric Key Encryption

Symmetric or secret key encryption uses the same key for both encryption and decryption of data. A web browser will generate a new symmetric key each time it opens a secure connection.
